About Ringfort:
I was born in 1959 in Germany. Today I`m living in Schwelm with my husband, the children and my pets.
In 2004 I learned how to use the chalk and the oil-chalk. At this time I couldn`t stop to study the way of doing and to try all the fascinating things, one can do. By using my fingers, I`m always in direct contact to the work and although my drawings are more realistic, I do have the possibility to express my own feelings in this way. In January 2007 I made my first experiences with acrylics, inspirated by a friend.

Hallo erstmal ! Ein gut gefächertes Angebot an guter Kunst, ich muß sagen sehr Einfallsreich im Gegensatz zu mir. The green is too green , i agree , but it was a toss up when i was playing with colour and saturation , do i go for overall feel and just live with the green or do i tone it down and in the end i liked the saturated version best , but yes , fair point , its a weak point :-) but im not a pro fotog yet so i dont have to worry , im supposed to be painting !! :-))

Thank you Sabina for liking my corn maidens and finding one that touches you. That is one of my favorite's too, with her little club foot and sweet face....lol because of the way I paint them, I really do not know what will be their personal personality until it is finished. I was surprised by the extreme sweetness of the one you like best, too. They are meant to touch peoples hearts. I'm happy that they are working.
